LENNY DALTON
Lenny founded Dalton Development in 1980 and was one of the first groups to build townhomes in the inner loop neighborhoods of Memorial Park and the Heights. In 1987, he applied and was accepted to the Center for Real Estate Development at MIT, where he received his Master of Science degree in Real Estate. Upon returning to Texas, Lenny managed and developed commercial property for Wagner Brown Oil & Gas Company before moving to Kenneth Leventhal & Co. to provide financial services and market analysis for commercial real estate.
Lenny returned to homebuilding in 1995 when he joined David Weekley Homes to work on sales, building, and project management. In 1998, he partnered with an old colleague to form Tuscany Estate Homes, specializing in the design and building of ultra-custom estate homes as well as townhouses and subdivisions in the Clear Lake, Inner Loop, and West Houston areas. In 2005, Lenny acquired the Houston portfolio of Richmond American Homes and formed a new company to develop and manage the properties. He named this project Dakota Blue in honor of his youngest daughter.
In 2008, Lenny pivoted his experience into the founding of Tuscany Renovation, a company focused on small and large-scale residential remodeling throughout Houston. In this new endeavor, he applied his experience to all aspects of renovation projects, from design development and scope of work definition to bidding and construction. In 2013, he began consulting on projects with Davis Builders and has since become an executive developer to further their commitment to shepherding the building process from start to finish.
